Chip Wilson’s Extravagant Vancouver home

The Lululemon CEO Chip Wilson owns one of the most exquisite homes this province has seen to date and I couldn’t resist showing it off. First and foremost this house expansion was planned and brought into reality by a duo I really admire in the design world. Piers Cunnington and Clinton Cuddington from Measured Architects really did an amazing job elevating this home to new heights.

The Waterfront House is an expansion project, a continuous landscape that envelops the original house. The project unfolds as a series of moments modulating between extroverted ocean and mountain views and introverted garden views.

Mr Wilson bought up the neighbouring property to expand his indoor and outdoor living space, all which gives the views a priority. As of early 2014 this house was valued at a whopping $54,000,000 CDN putting it easily as the most expensive property this province has ever seen. I suspect that number won’t be topped for many years to come, but you never know in this town.

The addition was completed last year and the project included a 4,700 square foot addition as well over 4,700 square feet of renovation. There are so many unique and amazing aspects to this home I would be a happy man just to be able to see the inside. I hope Chip loves this home and never lets this one of a kind work of art get out of his grasp.
