26 Aug 3 Hot Vancouver Island Romantic Getaways
Vancouver Island is home to some of the finest luxury resorts in the province, and their romantic getaway options come second to none. People from all over the world flock to these destinations, but so do a large amount of BC natives. We just have it too good here and I love the amount the locals love to be tourists in their own province. I sure do!
While I had a real hard time picking the top 3 for this post I will say I have experience two of these three and one day, when I’m less single, will tackle the third spot. I however am mostly interested in hearing from our readers on how their experience was with any of these romantic luxury resorts.
These little escapes are not done often enough if you ask me, and in this busy world you have to take time for romance. With all that work, perhaps both at the office and at home with the kids, you should always make time for a relaxing recharge. These three places will do all that an more without the need for long travel times.
1) Wickaninnish Inn @ Tofino
This place is magical. If not one of the best luxury resorts to visit in the province, their romance packages are second to none in the western town of Tofino. While the Wickaninnish Inn has a few romantic getaway options their “All You Need Is Love” package takes the cake. Get a suite with this romance package and enjoy everything from a four course dinner to Champagne and a romantic turndown with white orchids and 6 house made truffles.

2) Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa
With easy access from both the mainland and us Islanders, The Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa has an amazing romantic getaway for two year round. 3) Bridge House @ Point No Point
The newly built Bridge House at the Point No Point resort out in Shirley BC is a gem not enough people know about. This resort is just up past Sooke, an area that needs more attention. The locals and seasoned travellers of these parts know about this romantic resort nestled on the south coast of BC. I first learned about it when my good friends had a romantic getaway at one of their cabins.
What I love about this place is that it not only has spectacular scenery, but allows you to enjoy a more intimate experience.
