Mercedes has been on fire these past few years in my opinion and they have an array of amazing options for all types of needs and wants. I just happen to want and need exquisite handling and mind numbing speed and that’s exactly what the 2016 AMG GT S Coupe brings to the table. Not only that, but the absolute latest in automobile technology and luxurious comforts haven’t escaped what is almost a race car.

This amazing machine is really out there to offer something against the likes of the Porsche 911 models and frankly the only thing that was holing it back were those gullwing doors. They’re thankfully no longer on the car and the 2016 AMG GT S actually has lost some weight while still being able to carry a couple of golf bags in the trunk.

This year the AMG GT S comes packing a new 503-hp 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired to a seven-speed automatic. This roadster isn’t a slouch either and hits 0-60 MPH in just 3.0 seconds. That’s a lot of power to play with and while it may be the perfect weekend car, you can still drive her like an S550 and enjoy a trip to the grocery store with ease(or waking up your neighbours).
