After a three year wait, Gordon Ramsay has finally opened his first steakhouse in Canada. Under his brand Gordon Ramsay Steak you’ll find it in Richmond’s River Rock Casino Resort.
The clasically styled steakhouse started taking reservations mid-January, with Ramsay attending the official grand opening on February 21.
On top of a range of gourmet steaks, the menu includes miso glazed sablefish, tuna tartare, a seafood tower, Ramsay signatures such as his beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding.
Chef Ramsay said at the grand opening, “I’m blessed to confirm that 85% of our ingredients are sourced locally. That’s quite rare. I fell in love with Richmond and Vancouver BC over 20 years ago, and this whole area blew my mind. So, on behalf of the entire Gordon Ramsay team, from Vegas to London to Richmond, it’s very special to be here, and now it’s my turn to help continue this legacy and respect the ground it’s been built on.”
This is one of 88 of Ramsay’s restaurants and follows the December 2023 opening of Gordon Ramsay Burger in Coquitlam’s Great Canadian Casino.
