27 Oct Brewquet: Gift Baskets for BC Craft Beer Lovers
Brewquet is a new gift basket service based out of Vancouver that delivers across the lower mainland and the rest of British Columbia. What makes Brewquet different than the average gift basket is its more guy-friendly products and aesthetics. With most gift baskets technically for men as well, the basket usually centers around flowers.
The Brewquet’s centerpiece is a 6-pack of delicious craft beer (and cider) from Parallel 49 and five other local breweries. Wrapped in a stainless steel ice bucket, they include items to complement the beer, such as nuts, beef jerky and a branded bottle opener. Mens grooming products and other items are also offered.
Right now they offer five baskets themed after Vancouver neighbourhoods including, Gastown Kistilano, Yaletown and East Van. Also included is one for the infamous “Beer Island” in the Olympic Village.
You can also add extra items to each basket and can expect a fully bespoke Brewquet in the near future. Keeping with the local flavour, 70% of the products included are local and 75% are Canadian. Also 93% of their products and components are recyclable.
While these Brewquets were originally designed to be gift basket alternative for men, they’re actually great for anyone who loves good beer and tasty snacks, with only one basket containing mens grooming products.
