09 Aug 2016 Luxury Supercar Weekend Vancouver Preview
Vancouver’s beautiful VanDusen Gardens will again host the upcoming Luxury & Supercar Weekend for the 7th year on September 10th and 11th. We had a great time when we’ve attended and for more reasons than just the amazing showcase of vehicles. On top of modern luxury, vintage and supercars, along with other forms of lux transportation, it’s also a weekend that showcases high fashion, watches, jewelry and other high-end products and services. And if you happen to get hungry and thirsty you can try a selection of specialty food, wine and spirits (If you go for the VIP ticket).
If you haven’t had the chance to visit the VanDusen Botanical Garden just south of downtown Vancouver, it’s a gorgeous 25-acre garden park that’s the perfect setting for an event like this. Here you’ll get to check out a staggering selection of the best luxury and supercars that include 2017 models of the Bentley Bentayga SUV, Pagani Huayra Roadster, Ferrari 488, Aston Martin DB11, Mclaren 675LT Spider to name a few. The Canadian Concours D’Elegance classes include BMW 100 Years Strong 1916-2016, Italian Sports Cars 1950-1970, American Muscle Cars 1964-1970 and more. There will also be a variety of modified supercars from the top exotic tuners.
The $50 general admission ticket lets you check out all the vehicles, but if you’re like us and happen to like eating and drinking, the $100 VIP ticket is for you. The VIP ticket makes it a party with access to the VIP area and luxury hospitality tents, which includes all the complimentary food and premium alcoholic beverages with pop-up restaurants and wine/cocktail bars. This includes a James Bond Aston Martin tent, Jaguar Land Rover VIP restaurant, Heineken Bar, Bottega Gold Sparkling Lounge, Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar Lounge, Cioffi’s Italian Gourmet Cucina and others. Also if after a few cocktails you feel like picking up a supercar while you’re there, Adesa will be holding a supercar auction on the Saturday event at 3:30pm.
