Featuring both wood and glass panelling on its exterior, FOCAL has been designed to mimic the serene appearance of light filtering through a forest canopy, earning it the appropriate moniker “Vertical Forest Building”.

Inside the condos themselves, the expert designers at Riesco & Lapres have laid out a perfect stylistic union between FOCAL’s interior and exterior, creating a cohesive whole which is undoubtedly greater than the sum of its individual parts. Brushed oak floors offer a rustic sense of luxury and reliability, while stainless steel islands contribute a decidedly modern counterbalance. Best of all, thanks to both the building’s unique staggered architecture and its ideal location at a geographic high point, almost every unit will enjoy spectacular views of False Creek, the downtown core, the North Shore Mountains, or other surrounding scenery.

Mount Pleasant is a neighbourhood that’s undergoing tremendous revitalization right now, and FOCAL is just the latest step in that process. We previously mentioned the influx of hipsters to the area, and that trend has without a doubt brought the kind of youthful vitality and artistry that has made this section of Main Street into such a desirable address.
