02 Jan Kayaking In Kemano BC

I randomly stumbled across this video on my daily Vimeo browsing and at first I just thought it was yet another landscape video. I love them to death but I was completely wrong about this video after I made my way past the forty five second mark.

This place is called Kemano. It is a VERY remote (abandoned) town that solely exists because of the powerhouse inside nearby Mt. Dubose. Bottom line is I have no idea what’s been run before and what hasn’t. I found absolutely zero beta on the area.

 
I’m not too familiar with this extreme kayaking but Riley Adams certainly puts it on the line in some of these spots. There are a few more videos on his profile there and they’re all worth a watch! There is some swearing in the music in the song so if you’re a prude turn off the sound before watching.
