11 Feb 6 Luxury Chalets For Rent In BC
I’ve come to realize there are an obscene amount of ski chalets for rent in this province that come in all shapes and sizes. There are however only just a few that offer that extra mile when it comes to its accommodations and surroundings. I’ll hopefully open your eyes to a few new mountains as well and stray a bit from the usual Whistler or Okanagan options.
If you know of an amazing chalet that should be on this list then I encourage you to let me know via social media or right here in the comments below. Here are six of the most amazing ski chalets I could find for rent right now in British Columbia.
1) Bighorn Revelstoke
Simply the finest example of a luxury ski chalet anywhere on this planet and it’s right here in our backyard. Bighorn Revelstoke has won best ski resort in the world many years in the running and it is a place that can truly be synonymous with the word luxury. This is an all out mountain experience with everything to your own private helicopter and a well equipped staff ready to dazzle you.
The chalet has every angle covered from the minute you wake up to the dying hours of the night where you’re sipping champagne and enjoying the epic hot tub. The full staff here takes care of everything and the lodge manager will make sure your stay is completely bespoke.

2) Belmont Estate Whistler
We couldn’t do this list without one mention in Whistler, and we could easily do this list entirely in the resort town but that would just be lazy. However, one of the nicest chalets that also comes with its own helicopter and 9,000 square feet of luxurious mountain living. This place is so well stocked you don’t even need to bother with the village and can use all the estate has to offer.
The Belmont Estate sleeps 14 and the outdoor hot tub is built for 12 and a huge 15x5m pool to go with it, perfect for anytime of the year. There is also a huge games an media room, an office and just about every luxury you’re going to need before and after the slopes.

3) Le Couloir Golden
Golden is an amazing place to visit any time of the year but in the winter the powder in these parts is second to none. This timber frame chalet is what I think about when I close my eyes and picture a magical winter getaway in the mountains. I love the cozy feel and look of this place and it easily made my list even though it’s not as quite as over the top as our first two on the list.
The Couloir sleeps up to 9 within its bedrooms and roomy loft which is a perfect spot for the kids after a day on the slopes. There is of course a fantastic hot tub, games room and ample space for a lot of downtime fun with the family. The trails are literally steps outside your door here so heading off for the day is easy peezy.

4) Mt Washington Chalet
This place I’ve actually stayed at and had a blast with friends for a week the other year. Everyone on the Island who loves snow heads to Mt Washington and I always recommend that my mainland friends come check this mountain out for a change of scenery. You can literally hit the slopes during the day and blast off to Tofino and do some surfing all in the same day.
This place was really well looked after and can sleep up to 21 people which is slightly mind boggling. It was really close to the slopes and the kitchen was a great spot to entertain and cook epic meals all day long. I also got a lot of work done here as the wifi was great and overall I could easily live up here in this place.

5) Baldface Lodge In Nelson
Nelson BC has a lot of mountains nearby and the skiing here is world class which means you know there are plenty of luxurious chalet options in the area. The best of the best? Well in my opinion after a week here a few years ago is that this chalet and the team behind it make it top notch. You could come here, not hit the slopes and still have the time of your life with friends or new ones you make at the lodge bar.
The power here is heavenly and the location really makes you feel a million miles from the city. There is the main Baldface Lodge, as well there are 7 chalets to rent right close by which makes for quite the little mountain community that changes weekly. The accommodations are fantastic and the culinary team staffed at the lodge bang out amazing food all day long. This is a place to add to your bucket list for sure!

6) Sol Mountain Lodge
I have never been here but my Dad has and always brings it up when we’re talking about the mountains. Sol Mountain Lodge is nestled in the Monashee Mountain Range and is home to some of the best back country skiing in all of Canada, if not the world. Just step outside the chalet and you’re sitting on 30,000 acres of prime BC backcountry skiing, and Sol Mountain Lodge is the place to be.
While this place is quite luxurious I’d also like to mention it is very well priced and you get a lot of bang for your buck here(Especially you American’s right now).
