Revelstoke Luxury Hotels We Recommend For An Amazing Stay

Looking for the best Revelstoke luxury hotels to stay at during your trip here? Our team is full of avid skiers and we’ve been coming to Revelstoke for our winter vacations over Whistler now for the past three seasons and have loved ift.

We’ve also stayed at three different luxury hotels in Revelstoke during our time here and we’ve got a lot to say.

Firstly, and a bit controversial perhaps, but there’s nothing truly luxury here quite yet and we’re honestly still waiting for a proper luxury hotel to be built in Revelstoke. We do understand how pretentious that sounds, but it had to be said.

Three Revelstoke Luxury Hotels

Our list isn’t going to be ranked from best to worst, but instead on vibe. Depending on what you’re coming up to Revelstoke for will matter. Ski weekend with your friends, or is it family? Romantic getaway with summer hiking or order room service and Netflix all weekend long.

Team Fav: Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke

You just can’t beat the ski-in/ski-out location along with a fantastic staff, being pet friendly and having really clean rooms. We had one of our best team retreats here all together and there was plenty of room for all of us in the Summit Suit Sutherland.

The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke offers unparalleled access to the slopes of Revelstoke Mountain Resort—home to North America’s longest vertical descent. Guests stay in spacious, modern suites ranging from cozy studios to sprawling three-bedroom Summit Suites (up to 2,100 sq ft), all featuring high-end amenities like gas fireplaces, Miele-equipped kitchens, heated bathroom floors, and private balconies with sweeping mountain or valley views.

I love the hotel’s slope-side location which means skiers step directly onto the gondola, while après-ski relaxation awaits at the outdoor heated pool, three hot tubs, and the rejuvenating Sointula Spa which is a must.

You’ll also find pet-friendly suites which we love, family-friendly layouts (including sofa beds and split kings), and thoughtful perks like ski storage and a nightly resort fee covering essentials ensure a seamless, upscale stay.

The Suite: Summit Suite Sutherland

This is the best suite in the entirety of Revelstoke in our opinion. Perfect size and room for the family or a bigger group of friends. The hotel is perfectly located on the hill, so you can just ski in and out as you please. Ski, party, sleep and repeat.

Luxury BC Rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.

New Kid On The Block: Basecamp Revelstoke

The tail end of last summer one of our team members had a couple nights here and had a great time. Super clean, modern with European flair. They loved the virtual check-in and the roof-top hot tub.

We’re looking to perhaps try this next year for the group as they have suites that go as large as room for 16 guests. That’s pretty unheard of unless you’re renting some massive vacation rental home in the hills.

That is also the reason we don’t have a specific suite recommendation as it all depends on your crew size for this one.

Basecamp Suites Revelstoke is a modern boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Revelstoke, British Columbia. Opened in 2024, it features 31 spacious suites ranging from micro-studios to three-bedroom units, each equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, living and dining areas, and many with washer and dryer facilities.

The property is designed for travellers seeking comfort, style, and convenience, offering amenities such as free high-speed WiFi, complimentary coffee and tea, a hot tub, and free parking.

Its central location provides guests with easy access to local shops, cafes, restaurants, and popular attractions like the lively Saturday farmer’s market, Revelstoke Lake, and the Revelstoke Mountain Resort, all within a short walk or drive.

Is it what a lot of folks would consider luxury? No, not really but it’s on its way there and it will more than do if you couldn’t get The Bison Lodge or something similar.

Coolest Vibes: Eleven Lodge Revelstoke

While we’ve only been here during the summer for a hiking getaway masqueraded as an eating and beer vacation. During the winter, this place becomes the home base for their heli-skiing operations in Revelstoke and it’s something you need to book well in advance.

This is the go-to spot for a romantic getaway for two or a couple friends going for a hiking or moutain biking adventure.

Eleven Revelstoke Lodge combines historic charm with modern luxury in the heart of Revelstoke’s downtown. Housed in a restored 1911 red-brick building, the lodge features 12 king suites with mountain views, blending original architectural details like exposed brick with contemporary amenities such as a rooftop hot tub, sauna, and lounge.

Its on-site Quartermaster Eatery serves locally sourced, seasonal dishes and craft cocktails, emphasizing sustainability and inventive flavours. I personally dream about having a cold BC beer in that rooftop hot tub.

The lodge caters to adventure seekers, offering direct access to heli-skiing across 300,000 acres of terrain in winter and serving as a base for mountain biking, hiking, and river activities in warmer months.

Positioned as a year-round retreat, Eleven Revelstoke Lodge balances relaxation with high-end adventure experiences. Guests enjoy curated amenities like a rooftop deck with fireplaces, a gear storage room, and spa services, alongside proximity to Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

We checked recent guest reviews which mostly seem to highlight exceptional hospitality, personalized service, and thoughtfully designed spaces.
