Sandcut Beach On Vancouver Island

While it’s the onset of fall you really couldn’t tell with the amount of heat the sun was putting out today and it made for a perfect day to #ExploreBC. I decided to take Christine to a place she hasn’t seen yet, and that turned out to be Sandcut Beach just before Jordan River. There are many beaches to enjoy on the southern coast of Vancouver Island, but this one is perfect for an afternoon adventure.

Getting here is quite easy and you just take the highway to Sooke and keep on following it for about 25 minutes until you see the sign for the Sandcut Beach parking lot. It’s just a little gravel parking space with a washroom, and from there just a short but beautiful walk to the beach itself. The lush Vancouver Island rainforest however was much enjoy before getting to the beach as it’s lush and vibrant this time of year.
