10 Mar Soule Creek Lodge In Port Renfrew Opens
The Soule Creek Lodge located in Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island is tops on my summer 2014 visit list this year and good news, they just opened for the 2014 season. This is also the only place in Port Renfrew that makes the cut for our travel recommendations although I’d jump at any chance to stay in this great little community. As of March 7th they’re now taking bookings and I would recommend you jump on this quick because this place gets busy during the summer months.
Located just above the ocean nestled between the lush forest the Soule Creek offers an array of yurt’s and cabins that are almost at one with nature. Whether you’re bringing the family, looking for a romantic getaway or a homebase for your explorations, this is the place to be.
There are no prices listed on the site at the moment but giving them a quick call(1-866-277-6853)
) should clear that up. While you cannot bring you pets, the Soule Creek Lodge has two friendly dogs and two cats who can fill that furry void.
What do to for food? Well bring your own or take advantage of Tim and Jon Cash’s 35 years of culinary experience. They’ll provide you with an amazing local dining options that only the west coast of BC can offer, although bring your own wine.
The drive to Port Renfrew is amazing, the beaches are just as mind blowing as Tofino and the drive is only a couple hours from Victoria. While this areas popularity hasn’t reached its full potential quite yet, take advantage of the place almost all to yourself before it becomes the next Tofino…which it will in the next decade.
