22 Aug Terrace Beach Resort In Ucluelet

This beautiful resort located in one of my favorite parts of this province is part owned by local boy and actor Jason Priestley. Situated pristinely on the ocean in Ucluelet sits the Terrace Beach Resort, a place to escape the day to day routine and get one with nature.

Most people know Tofino, but just a twenty minute drive and you’re down the coast in the little ocean town of Ucluelet. Being so far away from civilization has its benefits and this resort definitely takes advantage of that.

The resort itself is also quite unique its setup. There are six individual forest cabins that offer either a boardwalk side view, and of course ocean front stays that are exquisite. Each place is designed for comfort and the interior has that west coast look and feel I love so much.

Since this place is located right on the water, you’re a step away from ocean activities and some of the best storm watching in the world. My stay here was a memorable event but I spent most of my time out on the water with Majestic Ocean Kayaking whom are recommended by the resort. You are right at the doorstep of the Pacific Rim National Park which I find best explored by Kayak and land. This is the home to bald eagles, whales and many other sea life you’re not going to see anywhere else in the world.
