While its no longer quite the secret the rock quarry on Texada Island makes for an amazing day trip. While I could go on about Texada Island (and I will in the near future), I highly recommend you check this place out before the waters get too cold. Getting to this somewhat secret location is actually quite a breeze after getting off of the ferry in Blubber Bay. A short drive or bike ride and you’ll be enjoying the emerald green waters and nothing but the sounds of nature and the occasional cannon ball.
