27 Feb University Of Beautiful Cars Blog

A new blog on the local scene is the University of Beautiful Cars, an obvious yet ingenius play on UBC. Metro Vancouver has the highest number of luxury vehicles per capita in North America, apparently. This is good news for me since I’m involved with Exotic Car Vacations and the more supercars here the better as far as I’m concerned. There are however a lot of haters out there which is always reflected in the internet comments.

I found out about the site today via Reddit’s /r/Vancouver section and as per usual there, the racist comments were abundant. This is typical of Vancouver despite just about everyone growing up with friends of many ethnicities besides Caucasian.

These kids drive their cars and while they’ll most likely never see a track day, at least they’re not stuffed in a garage forever for no one to see. I get a huge kick out of sipping a coffee on on Robson street watching works of art roll by, or how I can always go to the Fairmont Pacific Rim and see the rarest of the rare. This is a supercar city and it’s only going to get better.
