I’m always on the lookout for west coast inspired furniture and design and thanks to this month’s issue of YAM I came across the Autonomous Furniture Collective. I’m a sucker for that west coast wood and the contemporary designs they offer fit in with just about anyones design look.

Another aspect I love about this brand is that they’re providing a traceable, locally sourced wood for each and every piece. Being socially conscious and thoughtful of our environment is nothing new to us BC natives, and that is reflected in our shopping actions as well.

The end product is simply stunning and provides a contemporary looking product that has mass appeal. I’d also like to point out the branding and design work that Ivan Meade did with the company since its launch.
