This is perhaps the coolest and most intimate dining room experience on Vancouver Island and somehow I didn’t know about it until this past week. I’ve been to the Westin @ Bear Mountain a few times for dinner as it’s one of my favorite spots on the Southern Island. I thought I’d take a look at this amazing wine and foodie experience and let others know about how you and up to twenty friends can take over The Cellar.

Nestled deep within The Westin lies this wine cellar with a table fit for a king, and the wine collection to go with it. Wine lovers will shout with glee when they discover this room houses over 2000 bottles of wine from all over the world. Their Sommelier is always on point and will take food and wine lovers on a journey you just can’t get anywhere else like it on the Island.

This is the perfect spot to host a birthday or special event and she holds parties for 10-20 guests but that’s not all! They host Friday Night Flights which is a fantastic food & wine experience held from 6-7pm every Friday, and prices start at just $30 per person.
