Prepare to be enchanted. The Saanich Peninsula Hospital & Healthcare Foundation’s premier fundraising event, the Spirit Gala, is set to return on Saturday, November 15, 2025. This year, it promises an unforgettable experience with its “Crimson Cabaret” theme.
Following the incredible success of last year’s Spirit Gala, which raised over $450,000 for the Acute Care Campaign, the 2025 event is set to make an even greater impact. This year, all proceeds will support the “Enhancing Surgical Services” campaign, a vital initiative to upgrade the hospital’s three operating rooms and fund state-of-the-art equipment.
The event, once again held at the Mary Winspear Centre, is being produced by Aidan Henry of Brink Events (who also produced the 2024 Spirit Gala). When asked about the theme, Henry described a night that goes far beyond a standard fundraiser.
This Crimson Cabaret themed charity fundraiser will exude a sultry allure with rich red lighting, smoky jazz ambiance, and an air of decadent mystery that entices guests into an evening of glamour and intrigue.

Guests can expect a fully cohesive experience from the moment they arrive. “Themed elements will be integrated into the VIP reception, entrance, entertainment, tablescapes, floral, linens, print materials & signage, and overall event design,” Henry notes, ensuring a truly transportive evening.
The night will feature a cocktail reception, a gourmet three-course meal by Truffles Catering, live music, and dancing to The Haven. Of course, the evening will also include the highly anticipated live and silent auctions, which are a cornerstone of the event’s fundraising success.
