The weather has been absolutely lovely out here in Victoria, Vancouver and the Gulf Islands and what a perfect time to get away for a couple days. While the afternoons are perfect for exploring the outdoors, the mornings could be well spent cozied up next to your significant other at a new spa. I’m going to cover three amazing spa escapes for Spring Break but let me hear your recommendations in the comments below.
There are so many lovely spa’s in this province that I had such a hard time choosing. I have been to two of the choices below but the first one up is on my summer to-do list. At the very least get Christine a day there to get a first hand account.

Salt Spring Island is my favorite Gulf Island getaway and the options for staying and playing are abundant. The Solace Organic Spa is one of those magical little places to escape to and with either a short flight or a short ferry ride, you can be spa bound by lunch time. Scandinave Spa Whistler
I was here last year during the tail end of summer and while I shouldn’t pick favorites, this place definitely is the tops on my list. This is a great place to come with your significant other although I was flying solo here and had no problem enjoying the place deep in a book while out of the cold and hot pools. You can also get in a day or two of skiing in Whistler while you’re there.
There are many hot pools, saunas and of course masseuses on call that really make this spa experience hard to beat. I also think it’s a perfect spot since there is tons of snow around still and it makes those pools all the more inviting…oh and I imagine the outdoor fire pit is also a blast to sit around in while the snow glistens from the afternoon sun.
